revenger Админ. answered 4 years agoOf course you can do that. In general, you yourself figured out what’s what. The only thing that do not forget about the speaker connection. If your monitor has built-in speakers, then a much better solution would be to connect via the HDMI connector (it carries both video and sound). If, for example, you want to connect via the D-SUB connector, then only the picture will go, the sound will need to be connected through the speakers with a separate cable.
