In order to receive a digital signal, an all-wave or decimeter antenna is needed. Its performance directly depends on the distance between your TV and the transmitting TV tower.
• 3-10 km. An ordinary indoor antenna is needed, no amplifier is required. If you are in the city, it is better to take an outdoor antenna. Aim towards the transmitter.
• 10-30 kilometers. Purchase an antenna with an amplifier, it is best to put it outside the window.
• 30-50 km. An antenna with an amplifier is also needed. Place it exclusively outside and as high as possible. In apartment buildings there are common decimeter antennas, which give a good signal to each apartment.
