This is certainly possible. You will need to purchase a TV signal combiner, usually sold at TV equipment stores. After purchase, connect your cable TV and turn on automatic search, save all found channels. Then connect the digit and do the same. The use of an adder will help completely drown out terrestrial digital television and separate the meter and decimeter ranges.
