OJSC Comstar is a former enterprise from Russia that unites many organizations of telecommunication systems. The full official name is OJSC Comstar – United TeleSystems. The company was registered in May 2004 on the basis of already existing 3 mobile operators:

History of Comstar UTS from creation to 2021
MTU-Intel was established in 1993 as CJSC Interlink Holding. In the future, the company is renamed Comstar. Starting from 1.03.1999, the company has been operating in the field of services for providing access to the Internet for customers. On September 18, 2001, another operator structure in the field of telecommunications, PTT-Teleport Moscow, joins the company, which, starting from 2000, has strongly developed a new line of ADSL access for legal clients under the Tochka.Ru brand in the capital.
